1. Create Web Login
In order to create a new Web login which is linked to an existing QAD customer, please do the following:
Go to Enable to look up the customer:
http://enable/customers.aspx
Click search. Click on the customer number on the row that appears below the search controls.
Log in on behalf of the customer:
Click on Account settings:
Create a new user
Remember to check the "Can purchase on account" checkbox if the customer should be allowed to do that. Note this will only work if set up in QAD as well, i.e. customer needs to have on account credit terms and needs to have a credit limit greater than 0.
Once the user is added, a confirmation mail is sent to the to the specific email entered for that user.
2. Set Password for the Web Login
Once the Web Login is created, the user can then request to have their password reset (forgot password on the login screen).
Alternatively, Customer Service can set a password in Enable from the Customer Detail screen and inform the user. See screenshot below.
