Inputting and editing webtexts
To edit text on a page, that is not in a document, go into Enable and select the webtexts section on the left.
Make sure you have the correct language - click the ‘Load’ button if it does not show automatically.
A list, as shown below, appears.
In this list you can type in text into the
filters to search for the correct webtext or enter the webtext name that is
provided.
-
In this case I took FRONTPAGE-PAGETITLE and put it in the field above system name
-
You can also search based on
the text on the site by copying the text, or part of the text, and placing it
above the “master text” and “translated text” columns.
-
Please note: special letters
may not work in search (letters å ø æ for example)
Click on System Name (blue) to and a pop up opens
where you can enter the translation.
-
You can also select a new ‘Info Language’
if you would prefer to translate or reference from one other than English.
Make sure to click ‘Save’ when the change
is made and you are finished.
If you would like the Web Text to be live at once you can also click the ‘Publish updates’ button that appears after you make a change.
Thank you!
