Add a download to Enable

N.B. Chrome no longer supports the Silverlight plugin used to add files to the database. Please use Internet Explorer for this task.

Select the Downloads section of Enable.

Go to the section and select ‘+ New file’ button.

Select the file from your computer and then click start transfer

You can now edit the document title, input a version, select the type of document it is and the language.

Selecting the type of document will make sure the document is shown in the correct place on the website under the “Downloads” tab of a product page.

You should also add a comment to the download file. The comment should inform the customer and consist of a short description of the software, any helpful information or installation guidance plus any release notes.

Click ‘Done’ when you have finished here.

Now you can edit site restrictions to make sure it only appears on the correct country website.

In addition, you can edit the fields you can in the previous step.

"Save" when you have finished.

When adding a download to a page that is not possible to be found in Enable-->'Document' search, e.g Session Viewer

The steps are:

Find the product in Enable by name via Products configuration
Find the download tab under the product
Add downloads and publish

The ProductDownloads.aspx link (ttps://www.laerdal.com/us/ProductDownloads.aspx?productId=470 ) is not an official way for our customers to find the downloads – it is just an artefact of the solution/implemenetation and cannot be searched for.

3: Use the upload dialog to find, upload, link to Agile etc. The result is that the download should appear on the product page.

Remember to save after editing.
