Tag a download to a product in Enable
Please note:
- You do not need to upload user guides. From Enable, using the steps below, these files can be retrieved from Agile using the steps outlined below in Enable. This link means the file should update automatically when a new revision is released in Agile.
- If you will be uploading a new file from your computer (not Agile) please use Enable in an Internet Explorer web browser.
- If this new download will replace previous versions, please remove those outdated downloads after you have added the new.
To add the download to the product go into
the enable product database and search for the product.
Select the product you want and click the downloads link on the left of the product's setup page
Click Add file. Search and select the file from the list to
add.
At this stage you can:
-
User guides and IPIs >Search for files that have already released in Agile by using a Agile document reference number (see notes for exceptions below)
- Search for files already uploaded to Enable
-
Upload new files by clicking the 'New file' button and following these steps (Visit this solution for help to upload a new file to Enable)
Please note for Agile documents:
- It is an
advantage to use this system integration as once an Agile document is updated
the website will automatically be updated with this latest User Guide.
- User Guides need to be set up in Agile in a certain way for Enable to be able to retrieve them. The Agile team will have accurate information on what those tags are but, as an example, Enable will find the documents with Document Type “Doc – Printed Matter Specification” but the type “Doc – Generic” will not be found.
-
User Guides used from Agile should be ready to be shown to online customer; for example, the file used should not have any
print guidelines.
